Pikey peak is a seasonal snowy hill where local Sherpa people go for short hiking trips and to hang the prayer flag on the top. The Pikey is named from the name of the local Sherpa CLAN deity it represents the sky over nature. During the monsoon time, Sherpa people celebrate their CLAN god worship ceremony held by the Buddhist Lama and a group of Monks. In the monsoon time, they leave their domestic animals to feed hygienic grasses. Visiting a small Sherpa’s farmer village, painted Buddhist monasteries, and the rhododendron forest most highlighted. The trek is a good combination of Nature and Culture exploration.
